Bar taped off after early-hours attack with men hurt and two arrested

A bar on a main road in Stockport was taped off by police this morning after an early-hours attack.
Police said officers were called to the scene of an 'incident' on London Road - the A6 - in Hazel Grove just after 6.05am on Sunday (January 28). Two men were left hurt, though their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
One was arrested on suspicion of assault and common assault, police said. Another man - aged 27 - was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police said the incident happened at a 'premises'. The name of the premises has not yet been confirmed, though police tape was in place around the Browns tiki bar this morning.
Officers were stationed outside the bar as investigations were carried out within the cordon. Earlier, a stretch of the A6 was fully closed off by officers.
The road has since been reopened. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police are responding to an incident in Stockport this morning.
"Emergency services were called to a premises on Hazel Grove in Stockport at around 6.07am this morning (Sunday 28 January). Two men suffered injuries which are not life-threatening or life-changing.
"One man was arrested on suspicion of assault and common assault. Another man, aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of assault."
Browns bar has also been contacted for a comment.
