Bandsintown Expands Livestream Events With Daily Themes

LOS ANGELES- For the third day in a row, the number of positive results tests for COVID-19 rose in Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) confirmed 50 new deaths and 1,824 new cases. Some of the new cases reported are from a backlog of test results. To date, LACDPH has identified 51,562 positive cases of COVID-19 across all areas of LA County, and a total of 2,290 deaths.

Detavio Samuels has been named COO at Revolt Media & TV, where he will oversee all aspects of programming and development at the multiplatform hip-hop brand founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Samuels will report directly to Revolt CEO Roma Khanna.

Megan Thee Stallion scores her second No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs airplay chart as “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé, steps to the summit on the list dated May 30. The single ascends from the runner-up spot thanks to a 7% jump in plays in the week ending May 25, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

John Krasinski’s self-financed breakout hit YouTube series “Some Good News” has been licensed by ViacomCBS in a deal that will see the host replaced as it moves to the network's other platforms. Krasinski started the short-lived YouTube series in March as a way to bring, as the title suggests, some good news to the public amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that’s forced countless people to stay at home and practice social distancing.
