Ayrshire NHS chiefs have responded to a claim that only 60 per cent of people are turning up for vital coronavirus vaccines at one of the region's biggest vaccination centres. A report online last week suggested that around 40 per cent of residents scheduled to be vaccinated at the Galleon Centre in Kilmarnock hadn't bothered to turn up for pre-arrange appointments.
