EXCLUSIVE: Australian fitness influencer Kayla Itsines is launching a podcast featuring the likes of Jameela Jamil.
Itsines, who has 16 million followers on Instagram, is hosting Sweat and Daily with Kayla Itsines, in which she will aim to help listeners achieve fitness goals. She is the co-creator of a series of fitness ebooks titled Bikini Body Guides and a meal-planning and workout app, Sweat with Kayla.
Launching today, the podcast will each week cover a new wellness-related theme, ranging from fitness and nutrition to mindfulness and motivation, sleep and biohacking.
Jamil wil feature as guest alongside the likes of Gabby Bernstein, Jessie Inchauspe, Flex Mami, Turia Pitt and Morgan Mitchell.
Sweat Daily with Kayla Itsines is a co-production between Sweat and Bertelsmann podcast unit Storyglass. The show has signed to the Acast Creator Network, with Acast being the exclusive hosting, distribution and monetization partner for the podcast globally.
Bertelsmann studio Storyglass launched around four years ago and has made podcasts such as The UFO Project, while tapping into well-known Bertelsmann-owned Fremantle IP such as Family Feud.
Itsines said: “Hosting a podcast is a really different experience to personal training and has pushed me out of my comfort zone, but at the end of the day my mission is the same. Sweat Daily is a new way to help empower a global audience.”
