We all love to scan through clothes on ASOS, but how many times have you been on the site only to wish items were a little bit cheaper? Your wish has come true this week because the e-tailer has just announced the launch of a new bargain pop-up website where many items are retailing for as little as £5 here. From this week, shoppers can peruse a selection of over 2,000 womenswear and menswear products (most priced at just a fiver) from ASOS-owned brands like ASOS Design and ASOS Edition.
As you might expect, news of this sample site has spread like wildfire, causing quite a few of the items to sell out. However, it looks like a second drop will be coming soon, so if you can't get your hands on what you want this time, it's worth checking back soon for more newness.
Twitter is loving the news of the bargain website launch, with one user writing: "Being a night owl worked wonders for me because I was able to grab 10 bits from the asos sample sale last night and now it’s mostly sold out." A second tweets: "People who bought £5 winter jackets at the asos sample sale are really on the right side of history." Not quite sure what a sample sale is? OK! Fashion Editor Harriet explains: "These types of sales are great opportunities for brands to clear old stock and for customers to get items at a bargain price. Items are usually from previous seasons, hence why you're seeing winter jackets in the mix." It's also worth noting that visitors to the site will be required to register a new account and can't use their usual ASOS details to log in.
