A couple dubbed 'Mr and Mrs Privilege' after parking their SUV on a pedestrian crossing were slapped with a ticket after being spotted by a police officer.
The pair were handed a fine after stopping on a pedestrian crossing in Barrow, near Loughborough, on Friday (March 24). A policeman drove by as they were rowing with people who asked them to move.
The driver allegedly put on his hazard warning lights and dashed into a nearby Co-op. One witness told the woman left waiting in the passenger seat that they could not stop there before being met with backlash and abuse.

"A lady crossing the road caught my eye and we both walked towards the car and firmly, but politely, told her that they could not park there. We were met with some quite colourful language and she was most put out and angry that she was being questioned.

I even kindly pointed to the car park, right next to the shop and told her that that was where they should park, not on a crossing at 12.50pm on a busy Friday. "He's just going to get some cash out!" she protested. 'We're all *just* doing something",
