Ariana Grande is still mad AF about all the assumptions that have been made about her romance with Ethan Slater!
In a new interview on The Zach Sang Show out on Monday, the Wicked star slammed fans who have continued to run with narratives about her romance. You know, the one she started with the Broadway star right after breaking up with her ex-husband Dalton Gomez and while the actor was still married to Lilly Jay. Yeahhh… So, it’s not like all the affair rumors started over nothing! Come on, girl!!

But even with the messy optics, Ari is blaming fans for going along with the speculation without having some compassion for her or her boyfriend. She said in the interview:
Girl… is it really on fans who “selectively remember” the timeline here?! Or was the timeline just completely f**ked up?? And while she wants to set the record straight, the Grammy winner claimed there isn’t “enough time” to go through every rumor:
Hmmm. Not going into any specifics isn’t going to help, though. If she was truly innocent, she could at least shut down cheating rumors — which would clear her of a LOT of the hate! Unless, you know, those aren’t just rumors…
As for why she’s opening up about this now, it’s because her new album Eternal Sunshine is almost out and she knows the chatter about her love life is only going to get ten times worse — even if it shouldn’t. While joking that the timing of the release amid her controversial romance is “the absolute worst idea,” the Yes, And? singer noted:
Well, she can’t blame fans for jumping to conclusions if she’s the one who made the purposefully cryptic and misleading songs! Just saying!!

Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music The standoff between Universal Music Groupand TikTok over royalty payments and AI policies has resulted in a near-complete blackout of all music owned, distributed and published by the company on the platform — the videos are still there, but the music is muted. Yet new songs by UMG artists, including Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello and Niall Horan could be found on TikTok at the time of this article’s publication. How and why is that happening? While reps for UMG and TikTok declined comment, and an explanation of the platform’s logistics and process quickly devolves into a mind-melting blizzard of jargon and abbreviations, here’s a vast oversimplification of a couple of possibilities.
