Archie Lyndhurst, CBBC star and son of Nicholas Lyndhurst, dies aged 19

Actress Rhonda Fleming, star of Hollywood’s Golden Age, has died at the age of 97, her secretary has said.

Archie Lyndhurst, a young actor who starred on the British children’s series So Awkward, has died at the age of 19.

Former EastEnders star Tamzin has now taken to social media to heartbreakingly reveal how Archie's mum and dad "could not have been more proud of him." Taking to Twitter, she wrote her 233,000 followers: "I am utterly devastated at the news that beautiful Archie Lyndhurst has passed.

So Awkward star Archie Lyndhurst has sadly died at the age of 19 after suffering from a “short illness,” CBBC confirmed in a statement. Archie, who played Ollie on the comedy series for six seasons, “will be hugely missed by all who worked with him, and by all the fans who laughed along with Ollie in the show,” the network said.
