Three men are facing murder charges in connection with the death of a 10-year-old Tennessee girl who was killed after being hit by a stray bullet while sleeping on a couch.  Lillyhanna Davis was on a couch in her home near Elizabethton, Tenn., in the early morning hours of Nov. 17 when a bullet from a drive-by shooting went through a wall and struck her, the Carter County Sheriff's Office said.

Dolly Parton spoke out after fans credited her with helping to cure the coronavirus.  In April, Parton shared that she donated $1 million to research being done at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.  According to the New England Journal of Medicine, the donation made by Parton and the work done by researchers at Vanderbilt during trial phases directly led to Moderna announcing it had produced a coronavirus vaccine that is nearly 95% effective.

A 9-year-old boy in Tennessee who had been missing for three days after running into the woods following an argument with his foster parents was found safe and wearing no jacket or shoes by a creek bed Tuesday afternoon, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations.   Jordan Gorman was found by rescuers around 3 p.m.
