Antonio Banderas reacts to his first Oscar nomination

Want to attend the 2020 Oscars? According to Antonio Banderas, it's going to cost you a pretty penny.

The project from Madrid's The Mediapro Studio will be directed by Argentine filmmakers Mariano Cohn and Gaston Duprat. The actors recently starred in "Pain and Glory", although they never appeared together on screen, reports variety.com. 

MADRID — Spain’s two most recognizable cinematic faces, Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz, will co-star in a new film from Madrid’s The Mediapro Studio, titled “Competencia Oficial” (Official Competition), directed by Argentine filmmakers Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat (“The Distinguished Citizen,” “The Man Next Door”).

Although Tippi is blonde, Stella and her share the same slender and fit frame with delicate facial features.

The list of nominees for the 92nd edition of the Oscars, which will take place on February 9 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, was recently released. Among the names that are set to win a golden statue is Antonio Banderas, who competes in the category for Best Actor due to his work in the film Pain and Glory, directed by Pedro Almodóvar.

Florence Pugh received her first ever Oscar nomination for her critically acclaimed performance as Amy March in the Greta Gerwig-directed Little Women and the 24-year-old actress reacted to the news in the most hilarious way.
