Ant McPartlin has touched down in Australia ahead of the latest series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! which returns on Sunday, 19 November.
The 47 year old TV presenter will reunite with his co-presenter and best pal Dec Donnelly, who has been spending time in Australia with his wife, Ali Astall, and their two children, Isla, five, and one year old Jack. As Ant made his way through the airport, he teased what is to come on this year's show, as he said that the celebrities set to enter the jungle are "really good" and that the cast is "really strong".
His comments come as a stellar line-up of celebs are tipped to be going on the show, including UK politician Nigel Farage, This Morning's Josie Gibson and even Brtiney Spears' younger sister, Jamie-Lynn Spears. Speaking at the airport, Ant said that he "can't wait for the show to begin as he said it will be "nice to be reunited" with Dec, with whom he has presented the show with since 2002, bar one year when he was temporarily replaced with Holly Willoughby.
Of seeing Dec again, who he said had been enjoying a family holiday, Ant quipped: "It will be nice to see his white lines... his tan marks.
Ant was asked if the rumours were true that "another politician" - rumoured to be Nigel Farage - is entering the jungle, after former UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock sensationally joined the cast in 2022. Failing to confirm or deny if Nigel is indeed going on the show, Ant said: "I thought last year's series was great, and this year's series...
the cast is shaping up to be really good, really strong. Yeah, really strong." ITV have yet to confirm the star-studded line-up for this year's series, however, a number of high-profile names are rumoured to be entering the jungle.
