2023 Met Gala was a star-studded evening, but some major A-listers sat the night out. Katy Perry, Kris Jenner, Blake Lively and more Met Gala mainstays did not walk the iconic steps on Monday night.This year's Met Gala theme was «Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty» and celebrated the full work and life of the late designer, who died in February 2019 at age 85.

Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk shared a Met Gala moment. The former couple — who are co-parents to 6-year-old daughter, Lea — were spotted chatting away during Monday's festivities. Cooper wore a classic black tuxedo for fashion's biggest night, while Shayk was clad in a white Yohji Yamamoto gown. The theme of this year's Met Gala was "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" and celebrated the full work and life of the late designer.

Anna Wintour certainly did not approve this Met Gala guest. A cockroach has gone viral for crashing fashion's biggest night on Monday, scurrying down the red carpet before falling victim to death by stomping. The whole saga was captured by reporters on the scene and shared on social media. In a video and Twitter thread by, photographer Kevin Mazur is seen snapping a pic of the bug before attempting to squish it with his shoe.

After walking the red carpet at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, guests were treated to drinking, dancing and general merriment — including a performance by Lizzo.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and actor Bill Nighy have seemingly confirmed their romance as they walked the white carpet of the Met Gala arm in arm at Monday night's event. Anna and Bill – who are both 73 – were first rumoured to be dating in 2021 after being seen enjoying each other's company over romantic dinners in Italy. And in December 2022, the pair were seen at a New York screening of Love, Actually star Bill's movie Living.

A$AP paid homage to the Chanel designer as well, sporting a single black leather glove and some black shades of his own for the occasion.Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade also made a splash while walking the ivory carpet.Union stood out in a stunning monochromatic crimson number, which included a red dress and matching full-length red leather duster.

Kylie Jenner brought a dash of color to the 2023 Met Gala on Monday, stunning crowds with a dramatic red gown accentuated by a stunning blue lining. Kylie's dress and coordinated robe were designed by Haider Ackermann for Jean Paul Gaultier. She completed the look with makeup from Kylie Skin and Kylie Cosmetics lines with the work of makeup artist Ariel Tejada, and was spray tanned by Isabel Alysa. She arrived at the Met steps alongside her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, who impressed with their own looks. Kylie and her sisters' attendance came amid conflicting reports about whether the Kardashian-Jenner family was invited to this year's Met Gala.

. Anna Wintour adheres to the traditional rule that people should mix and mingle at parties. And since Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson are wearing different labels to the event, they definitely won't be attached at the hip all night.

Jennifer Lopez is back on the floor Met Gala red carpet — this time as a married woman. The triple threat set foot on the iconic steps outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (the first of May, of course) as a guest of the annual star-studded gala. In accordance with the year's theme — «Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty» — the fashionista sported a custom Ralph Lauren silk velvet halter gown with a draped silk satin skirt.The gown, which was entirely made by hand, was completed with artisanal details including a floral collar with petals heated and molded by hand to resemble the natural shape of a flower, and black silk evening gloves.Lopez is no stranger to the Met Gala, having attended a dozen times since 2004.

Pedro Pascal cleans up pretty good!star stepped out on the carpet at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday, rocking a bold red and black ensemble, complete with a red top and trench coat, black tie, black shorts, and black boots. With his hair slicked back and a bit of his  facial hair neatly trimmed, Pascal made sure to give fans and onlookers the Angelina Jolie leg as he showed off his stylish ensemble.The 2023 Met Gala takes place on May 1 in New York City.
