After days of detailing racist, transphobic, hostile, and abusive behavior on and off sets with several people involved with “American Horror Story,” including Ryan Murphy and Emma Roberts, Angelica Ross has announced that she is “leaving Hollywood.”
“For the folks who haven’t put it together yet, I’m ‘leaving Hollywood’,” Angelica Ross wrote on X. “There are multiple articles that will be coming out detailing this. Initially, Ross shared details about Murphy, the creator of “AHS,” stringing her along about an all-Black-woman-led season and keeping her under a first-position contract, leading her to miss opportunities with other companies, including Marvel.
She then started sharing stories of mistreatment she faced on the set of “AHS: 1984,” including crew members wearing racist shirts, and her co-star Emma Roberts misgendering her and making fun of her voice.
Since then, Roberts has reached out to Ross to apologize. Murphy has yet to comment.
On Wednesday, Ross explained that it wasn’t just about one or two individual instances, it was a pattern.
“The last 3 years have been a nightmare in ways you are only beginning to know about,” she wrote on X. “This is about a SERIES of events that tell a different kind of horror story. People on here are being unpaid extras whose inhumanity is frightening. Just know I’m prepared

We guess there’s hope for Emma Roberts?
Angelica Ross said Wednesday that her American Horror Story: 1984 co-star Emma Roberts has apologized after Ross earlier in the day took to social media to accuse Roberts of misgendering her on the set of the Ryan Murphy series.
's Emma Roberts has reportedly apologized after her former costar publicly called her out for a demeaning and transphobic remark she made on the set of AHS: 1984.In an Instagram Live, actor, advocate, and businesswoman recounted a comment Roberts made while they were working together: Roberts whined (in jest) that Ross was “being mean” to her—that comment wasn't the problem—and after their director told the two “ladies” to be polite, Roberts asked, “Don’t you mean lady?” As Ross is a trans woman, this comment was clearly meant to invalidate her gender identity, and although Roberts apparently covered her mouth with her shirt like she was saying something naughty, it was a cruel and random remark, not to mention completely unprofessional. There was no need to bring gender into the conversation except to be transphobic.
Angelica Ross has revealed that she received a phone call from Emma Roberts just hours after she accused the actress of making transphobic comments on the set of American Horror Story.
