Andy Cosferent is explaining why he seemingly disappeared from Cheer‘s second season about partway through.
If you don’t know, Andy is the assistant coach for the for the Corsicana, Texas team and did not appear in the second half of the season, leading fans to suspect he was fired.

According to TMZ, Andy told them he works for a company that helps coordinate cheer camps. When things started opening up again amid the pandemic, he was called back to work at that job. He also said part of the reason he was absent is because he’s one of the organizers behind Cheer Live, a live cheer tour across the country with participants from both Navarro and Trinity Community College.
