André 3000 says he lost Fast & Furious role to Ludacris

an Instagram post from actor Vin Diesel heavily suggested that the next “Fast & Furious” film, said to be called “Fast X: Part 2,” will be the last hurrah for the 23-year-old franchise. “Just finished our end of the week Fast meeting with the writers and the whole team,” Diesel wrote. “To say the excitement for our finale was incredibly powerful is an understatement.

Thanks to the growing popularity of his Amazon Prime Video action thriller series “Reacher,” based on the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child, Alan Ritchson’s is starting to really take off. It’s only been on for two seasons but seemingly taken off in the last year and is quickly turning the 6 ft 2 actor into a star.

In his first public statement since sexual battery allegations against him in December, Vin Diesel said he’s sticking with the “Fast & Furious” franchise and confirmed the next film is its last. He did not address any misconduct or the lawsuit brought against him.

The end is near, says Vin Diesel. But he promises it will indeed be a grand finale.
