‘And Just Like That…’: HBO Max Sets Writing Team For ‘Sex And The City’ Reboot

Earlier today, we reported about Steven Soderbergh updating the progress of “The Knick” Season 3. This work is on top of putting the finishing touches on his upcoming crime film, “No Sudden Moves.” But we all know Soderbergh isn’t the type of filmmaker to let a moment go by without something else in the works.

It seems that every few years, Woody Allen’s past comes back to haunt him. The filmmaker has been defending himself against allegations of sexual assault against a minor for decades now, and a couple of years ago, this led to Amazon Studios parting ways with him.

As Russell T. Davies tells it, he could have written his acclaimed new series “It’s a Sin” a while ago, but, busy with all sorts of other projects, he didn’t get around to it until recently.

When Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that there will be a "Sex and the City" revival, fans couldn’t help but wonder: what will happen to Samantha Jones? Kim Cattrall, who played the proudly promiscuous publicist in the hit Emmy-winning series, will not be returning. HBO Max chief content officer Casey Bloys told TVLine on Wednesday that the SATC follow-up, titled "And Just Like That…" will be a realistic portrayal of women in their 50s.

HBO Max is set to launch in Latin America and the Caribbean in late June 2021. WarnerMedia's streaming platform, which launched in the U.S.

fans have some insight into how Samantha Jones might be written off of the new HBO Max revival. The 10-episode half-hour series, which will be titled,, will star Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbs, and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.
