With heavy rain forecast in many parts of the UK this bank holiday, those going to Alton Towers, Drayton Manor or Thorpe Park might want some extra backup when it comes to being waterproof. Luckily, Amazon is selling emergency ponchos for the whole family, and they've received over 500 five-star reviews.
The disposable transparent ponchos are small enough to fit in a bum bag. They’re available in one size, but reviews suggest that they’ll fit the whole family. The ponchos - which come in a pack of six - are currently available for £7.99, making each rain jacket less than £1.34 each.
The ponchos have been made of waterproof PE material, complete with a drawstring hood and elastic cuff, designed to keep you dry when enjoying outdoor activities. Each raincoat is individually packed and weighs less than 50g each, ideal for carrying in a purse or backpack for an emergency.

A second wrote: "Took these to the water park and kept me perfectly dry. The sleeves have elastic cuffs which kept them in place." A third penned: "Perfect for what I needed. You can reuse them as long as you take them off carefully. Plenty of room, and I was proud to be the only dry one out of the group of coat wearers."
However, one person gave the 6 Pack Disposable Rain Ponchos a negative review because the material 'feels cheap'. They wrote:
