Those looking to celebrate in coming months are in for a treat as the price of one popular champagne has dropped down in price. I'm a wine expert, and have successfully qualified in the WSET level 2 wine course.
So when it comes to champagne, I know my stuff. One of the most popular bottles out there is Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Champagne, which is a firm favourite over the Christmas and New Year period, and typically retails at over £40 for a 75cl bottle.
But for a limited time, its price has been slashed Amazon. Now it's cheaper than bottles you'll find at Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons. The retailer has now listed the number one best selling champagne at £35.89 - which is cheaper than you'll find it at the supermarket.

If you're a Clubcard holder you can nab a bottle for £36 at Tesco, which is the same price you'll find at Sainsbury's. There are no discounts over at Morrisons where a bottle will set you back £44.
Moet is made up of the three classic champagne grapes Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Unlike many others on the market Pinot Noir and Meunier are at the forefront whereas Chardonnay makes up the smallest percentage in the wine, although they are all split at around 30%.
This means the wine has a distinct green apple and citrus flavour although there's a touch of white flowers and brioche nutty notes that champagne is known for. It's pulled in an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 across 6,287 global ratings.
