Altered Carbon is back for Season 2, but no matter how much you love this totally bonkers sci-fi show,you may find yourself struggling with the terminology of the series. That's just what happens when a story is set so far in the future that every piece of new technology and slang seems foreign. To be real though, that's kind of why we love the show in the first place!

As we head back into the absolutely bonkers world of Altered Carbon, you may find yourself struggling with the terminology of the series. That's just what happens when a show is set so far in the future that they have to come up with names for all the various new technologies and invent slang terms to give it a truly authentic vibe.
The quick review of Altered Carbon Season 2 boils down to this: If you liked Season 1, you'll probably like Season 2. The new season of the noir detective sci-fi series slathered in cyberpunk is almost a carbon (sorry) copy of the first, retaining what made it a buzzy visual delight but never learning from the glaring mistakes of hokey dialogue and sloppy plotting.
