Sean Penn's mother Eileen Ryan has died aged 94. The actress - who was due to turn 95 on October 16th - passed away at her home in Malibu, California, according to a statement from 'Dead Man Walking' star Sean's publicist.

Ohio Republican Senate candidate JD Vance accused Democratic opponent Rep.Timothy Ryan of using "canned" responses and not addressing the substance of the moderators' questions during Monday's debate on "The Story" Tuesday Vance, a venture capitalist whose impoverished upbringing was recently explored in his memoir-turned-Ron Howard film "Hillbilly Elegy", claimed onFox News that Ryan has grown complacent in his 20 years in office. "The thing I really enjoyed about [the debate] was just that it was very clear that [Ryan] had a few particular canned lines," Vance told host Martha MacCallum.  "He had a few particular talking points, but he couldn't actually address the substance of almost any question.

U.S. Senate candidates J.D. Vance and Tim Ryan participated in a heated debate in Cleveland on Monday night, with both candidates accusing each other of being party loyalists.

Ohio Democrats and Rep.Tim Ryan, D-OH., told NBC News that Ryan was running "all by his lonesome" in the state's Senate race and that working with D.C. Democrats was "like pulling teeth."  "The national Democrats… trying to talk them into a working-class candidate, it’s like pulling teeth sometimes," Ryan told NBC News after a campaign event in Cleveland. "We’re in Ohio and we got a candidate running around with a tinfoil hat on.

Rihanna’s eighth and most recent studio album, ‘Anti’, came out in 2016.Earlier this week, TMZ asked Rihanna how she was feeling about making her Super Bowl debut. “I’m nervous but I’m excited,” she replied.

J. Kim Murphy “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler has opened up about his grieving for the film’s star Chadwick Boseman, who died in Aug. 2020 after a private battle with colon cancer. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the filmmaker shared that Boseman’s death led him to reconsider continuing his work in the entertainment industry. “I was at a point when I was like, ‘I’m walking away from this business,'” Coogler stated. “I didn’t know if I could make another movie period [or] another ‘Black Panther’ movie, because it hurt a lot. I was like, ‘Man, how could I open myself up to feeling like this again?'” Coogler went on to explain that he spent the following weeks revisiting footage of himself with Boseman, who he saw as a major creative collaborator and champion of “Black Panther.” Returning to memories of his own relationship with the actor, the filmmaker began to rediscover his passion for the kingdom of Wakanda and its narrative possibilities.
