Boundary pushing dresses have been rife on red carpets over the years, and it seems celebrities sure do know how to get it just right in gowns designed to show the maximum amount of skin.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the first Monday in May came and passed us by without all of the pomp and circumstance that’s usually reserved for the iconic Met Gala.

May, 4 was a sad date for fashionistas all over the world. For the first time in 70 years, the prestigious Met Gala did not take place due to the pandemic. To mark the day and lift the spirits,  Jennifer Lopez  shared a fabulous compilation of her looks on the exclusive red carpet. Hollywood is reminiscing the good ol' days at the MET Gala. It was the first Monday of May which meant it was the night MET Gala 2020 was supposed to take place. Owing to the Coronavirus outbreak, 'fashion's biggest night out' was postponed this year. But this hasn't dampened their spirits. On one hand, Jonas hosted her own version of MET Gala, on the other, Blake Lively took a walk down the fashionable memory lane to troll herself. 

Today is the first Monday in May and the 2020 Met Gala should’ve been happening, but sadly it has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. So, we’re taking a look back at last year’s event.
