Lucy Lloyd-Ruck was one of the lucky shoppers to get a selfie with the rock star after he was seen eying up a bomber jacket from the independent retailer.
I was just trying a couple of vintage dresses on and I came out of the dressing room and I saw him chatting to the owners,” Lucy told the M.E.N. “He had his back to me at first and I wasn’t quite sure who it was but then he turned around and I realised it was Alice Cooper.
“I think he was looking at a bomber jacket and he seemed really nice and interested. He was posing for pictures with the staff. I think it’s amazing that he was supporting an independent business too.”
Pop Boutique shared a photo with the star on their Instagram page on Sunday afternoon with the caption: ‘Saturday visitor’. The post received more than 100 likes within an hour of going up.
“I approached him outside and asked if I would be able to get a photo with him too,” Lucy added. “It was really kind of him to do that.
“It was really brief as I didn’t want to bring too much attention to him. I just wish I had been able to have more of a conversation with him!”
