Alex Beresford breaks silence on Piers Morgan's departure from GMB

Alex Beresford has broken his silence after Piers Morgan accused him of "trying to make a name for himself" with their on-air Good Morning Britain row.The 40 year old and Piers, 55, clashed on the ITV show on 9 March over his comments about Meghan Markle following her Oprah Winfrey interview.The argument resulted in Piers storming off before quitting his role as Susanna Reid's co-host.

Meghan Markle's mental health, Piers quit the breakfast show and stormed off live on air. The presenter left the show after six years and said he quit because he refused to apologise despite pressure from ITV bosses to do so.
