The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office is approaching the four-month mark of its investigation into the circumstances of "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ death on Oct. 21, 2021, in New Mexico, in which authorities are trying to get answers as to how a live round found its way into a prop gun — killing the rising filmmaker and wounding the film’s director Joel Souza.

Taking action. The family of Halyna Hutchins, who died in the shooting on the set of Rust, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and other individuals involved in the movie’s production.

This morning Hutchins estate attorney Brian Panish put blame on Rust producers and Baldwin for their negligence with safety during production of the western that led to Hutchins being shot and killed by a prop gun discharged by the Oscar nominated actor, an incident that also saw the pic’s director Joel Souza injured. Using an animated video to reconstruct the alleged incidents that occurred, Panish showed Baldwin cross-drawing and firing the gun straight at crew during a “line-up”.

Rust production team.On October 21 last year, Baldwin is alleged to have discharged a prop firearm during rehearsal on set at Bonanza Creed Ranch in New Mexico which injured director Joel Souza and killed Hutchins.At a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday (February 15), lawyers for the Hutchins family announced they had filed a lawsuit against Baldwin and “others who are responsible for the safety on set, and whose reckless behaviour and cost-cutting led to the senseless, tragic death of Halyna Hutchins”.Names mentioned in the lawsuit (via Deadline) include actor and producer Baldwin, producers Ryan Smith, Allen Cheney, Nathan Klingher, Ryan Winterstern, Anjul Nigam, Matthew DelPiano, and Emily Salveson. Armourers Hannah Gutierrez Reed and Seth Kenney are also named, alongside crew members Sarah Zachry, Dave Halls, Gabrielle Pickle and others.The lawsuit claims the Rust production team “disregarded at least 15 Industry Standards” of on-set safety.

In addition to bad names like "fat," "voluptuous," "promiscuous" and "attention-seeking," she added "thoughtless little pig." The comment was of course a reference to the 2007 voicemail message that he left his then 11-year-old daughter in which he called her a "rude, thoughtless little pig" for failing to answer her phone.The ensuing rant has plagued the actor for years and it seems it also stuck with Ireland, who is now 26.  In her caption to the video after she reposted it from TikTok to Instagram, Ireland goes into more detail about how negative media scrutiny has impacted her life over the years.  Ireland Baldwin commented on her dad's infamous 2007 voicemail to her.

Ireland Baldwin to accurately introduce herself.  In a new video recently shared on Instagram, the 26-year-old model put a spin on a current TikTok trend set to The Ting Tings' «That's Not My Name,» in which celebrities share all the roles they've performed and titles they've held throughout their careers. «My name is Ireland...,» her video read, «but the media likes to call me…» She posed as the video listed labels including «fat,» «attention seeking, voluptuous, promiscuous,» «well-off, silver spoon fed brat w/ no real job,» and «thoughtless little pig,» a quote from the infamous leaked voicemail her father, Alec Baldwin, left her in 2007. The video concluded with, «My name is Ireland. I’m a writer.
