As we get that bit closer to December, many shoppers might be beginning to wonder what days their local supermarket will be open this year.
The festive period is a notably busy time for shoppers and supermarkets alike, as many descend on stores to get their last minute Christmas shopping essentials.
While usually all major stores are closed on Christmas day itself, many do operate at different hours during the build-up to the main event, meaning you might need to plan your shopping carefully.
It is still early days yet, as not all supermarkets across Scotland have announced their official festive opening hours. We do have a rundown on those that have confirmed when they will be open this year.
Here is the full details of the supermarkets that have confirmed their Christmas 2022 opening hours. We will keep you posted with more as they are announced in the run-up to Christmas.
The budget supermarket has confirmed that it will be extending its opening hours during the build up to the big day.
The majority of stores will be open from 7am until 10pm between December 19 - December 23. The store will then closer a little earlier on Christmas Eve, December 24, as it will be open from 7am - 6pm.
All stores are then closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Stores will return to the normal 8am-8pm opening hours from Tuesday, December 27.
Iceland and The Food Warehouse recently confirmed a few changes to its seasonal opening hours.
