Adele gives first live show at BRIT Awards since canceling Vegas residency

Adele has been all about the glitz and glamour in recent days but she sported a much more low-key look as she arrived in Los Angeles this weekend.  The Easy On Me singer jetted back to California on Saturday after spending the past week at home in the UK, primarily to attend the Brit Awards.  However, the raucous fun was well and truly over as Adele, 33, was seen disembarking a private jet in LA and looking ever so cosy in a burgundy Nike tracksuit with the hood pulled up and teamed with a pair of black fluffy sliders for optimum comfort.

Adele seemingly doubled down on declaring her love for "being female" after she faced criticism over her acceptance speech at the 2022 Brit Awards. The 33-year-old artist was videoed by fans while hanging out at G-A-Y's Porn Idol event at Heaven in London. Videos showed Adele pole dancing and cohosting a stripping contest alongside RuPaul Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole.

Work it, Adele! The 33-year-old singer partied it up at a gay nightclub in London on Thursday, Feb. 10, just two days after she took home three awards at the 2022 Brit Awards. Adele was in the audience for G-A-Y’s Porn Idol event, which is a stripping contest, at Heaven nightclub, before she decided to hop on the stage herself! The “Easy on Me” songstress performed a brief pole dance, which caused the audience to go absolutely wild. The epic moment was caught on video by a fan, and can be seen below.

Dr Ranj has issued a warning to his followers after he was robbed after leaving the Brit Awards on Tuesday night.The This Morning doctor, 42, was in attendance at the UK’s biggest night in music on at the O2 Arena and shared with his followers how he was robbed as he tried to get a taxi on his way home, after heading to Soho. In a text post shared to Instagram, Dr Ranj said: “A little word of warning… “I had the BEST night last night. Sadly, on my way home from Soho when I was walking to get a taxi, I was approached by a man who robbed me.

Spotify streams of Little Simz‘ music have soared over 350 per cent following her appearance at this year’s BRIT Awards.The rapper, who released her last album, ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’, back in September, won the award for Best New Artist at last night’s (February 8) ceremony at London’s The O2. She also performed a medley of her tracks ‘Introvert’ and ‘Woman’.Her massive night has since prompted a huge spike in Spotify streams in comparison to other BRITs winners including Adele, Silk Sonic, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Sam Fender.There was a 812 per cent increase in streams of ‘Introvert’ and a 594 per cent spike for ‘Woman’, equating to a 365 per cent jump overall.Elsewhere, Adele, who took home three BRITs last night (Artist Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year), saw a 137 per cent increase in Spotify streams following the awards, while Dave’s streams went up by 217 per cent. Fender’s music saw a 79 per cent jump.“As ever, the BRITs showed the incredible breadth of talent being fostered here in the UK, across every genre of music,” Tom Connaughton, managing director of Spotify UK and Ireland, said in a statement (via Rolling Stone UK).

Her success brings her total Brits haul to 12 and increases her lead as the most decorated solo female artist at the awards. She is also now the only solo artist to have won album of the year three times – with only the bands Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys equalling her total. Host Mo Gilligan kicked off the evening at London’s O2 Arena with a sketch in which he attempted to plan a dramatic entrance, but was thwarted by the show’s policies on carbon emissions.

It was a successful night at the 2022 BRIT Awards with many talented musicians walking away with gongs.

Ed Sheeran and Bring Me The Horizon opened the BRIT Awards 2022 tonight (February 8) with an unlikely new version of the former’s ‘Bad Habits’.The track was the first single to be taken from Sheeran’s 2021 album ‘=’ and topped the Official UK Singles Chart for 11 consecutive weeks.Taking to the stage to kick off this year’s BRITs, Sheeran and Bring Me The Horizon delivered an amped-up version of the hit, complete with an array of dancers, some of whom hung from wires and spun around above the stage. BMTH frontman Oli Sykes put his own spin on the song with his adopted verses delivered in his trademark growl.Sheeran will perform again later in the ceremony.
