Ethan Shanfeld Adam Perkins, the Vine star best known for his viral “Welcome to Chili’s” video, died Sunday. He was 24.His twin brother Patrick Perkins announced the news late Tuesday night in an Instagram post.

Adam Perkins, the Vine creator, performer and musician who achieved an unlikely fame in 2015 for a three-second video in which he enthusiastically exclaimed “Hi, welcome to Chili’s!” while clad only in boxer shorts, died Sunday of undisclosed causes. He was 24.

Patrick Perkins confirmed his tragic passing on Instagram Tuesday, but didn’t disclose the cause of death.“My brother, Adam Perkins, passed away this previous Sunday, 4-11-21,” wrote Perkins, 24, in a lengthy homage to his younger sibling. He also uploaded photos of himself and his late twin throughout the years.“i can’t even really put into words what this loss means for me,” lamented the elder Perkins, who collaborated on many videos with his bro.
