More cast members have been announced for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast special that will air on ABC this holiday season, and this cast list is shaping up to be amazing!
Shania Twain is one of the seven cast members who have been announced for Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration, which is billed as a “reimagining” of the 1991 animated movie. The special will blend animation and live-action performances. While it will be taped in front of a live audience, the special is not slated to air live.
Oscar and Grammy-winning entertainer H.E.R. was previously announced to be playing Belle. Now, more cast members have been confirmed for the special.
The special will air on Thursday, December 15 at 8/7c on ABC and will stream on Disney+ the next day.

Josh Groban previously recorded the song “Evermore” for the soundtrack of the live-action movie version of Beauty and the Beast.
