A Place The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton has showed off her brand new home following her split from husband Alex Goward.The TV presenter, 39, took to Instagram to share some photos of her new home, which is covered in scaffolding as renovation work on the property begins. Alongside a photo of herself standing outside the property, Laura wrote: “The scaffolding is up and the renovation begins… “It’s no secret I love renovating properties.

Posting a photo of a bunch of flowers and a candle on the table on the inside of her new house, Laura added: “I have BIG plans for my new home, but in the meantime it’s cozy with lots of lamps, candles and flowers”. It comes after the star announced her split from husband of 13 years, Alex Goward.The presenter announced the news on social media earlier this month writing it's "not something I ever thought I'd be saying." Laura shared a photo of a quote which read: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." She then penned as the caption: "This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
