While rides such as the 140-foot-tall drop tower Barnstormer, the original log flume the Loggers Leap and the Twist n’ Shout, a looping speed rollercoaster (one of three at the park) thrilled those brave enough to try them.
Other top attractions included the Plough, which at the time was the largest Chair-O-Plane ride in the world and visitors will remember for the huge blue moon it was attached to, and the Black Pearl, a pirate ship ride that swung thrill-seekers upside down in a full loop.
