Yossman Almost 90% of workers in the audiovisual and performing arts industries in Latin America and the Caribbean have experienced harassment and violence in the workplace.The shocking figures were revealed in a new report published by the UNI Global Union’s media, entertainment and arts department together with the International Federation of Actors (IFA).Responding to the joint UNI and IFA survey, 87% of women said they had experienced violence or harassment in the workplace while 95% of trans and non-binary workers reported the same.

An American journalist was killed by Russian troops in Ukraine on Sunday (March 13), according to Ukranian police. Brent Renaud, a 51-year-old award-winning writer and filmmaker, was fatally shot when Russian forces opened fire on a car near the Romanivsky Bridge in the town of Irpin, near the capital of Kyiv, per a Facebook post by the head of Kyiv’s regional police unit, Andriy Nebytov. Another reporter was also wounded in the attack and hospitalized, Nebytov wrote.

Placebo have shared the details behind their first North American tour in almost a decade.The string of dates will follow the release of the band’s eighth studio album ‘Never Let Me Go’ which is set for March 25. Out American basketball player, Brittney Griner has been detained in Russia. The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) All-Star was arrested in Moscow last month. There were fears that Russia, which faces sanctions for invading Ukraine last month, could use Griner as a hostage. The Russian Federal Customs Service have released this video in which airport security are seen going through the luggage of a passenger identified as Brittney Griner.
