Now more than ever viewers are likely to find themselves overwhelmed by the number of streaming services to choose from, as they struggle to figure out which one is truly worth their hard-earned money. Apple and Disney entered the field in late 2019 with their offerings, and there are at least another three streaming services on the way in 2020, including HBO Max and NBCUniversal's Peacock.

Now that we're all spending a lot more quality time with our couches because of the COVID-19 pandemic, viewers are likely wondering what the best streaming service actually is. Apple and Disney entered the field in late 2019, while Quibi, a short-form mobile streaming service, launched earlier this week. And there are at least another two more streaming services coming this year, including HBO Max and NBCUniversal's Peacock.

It is once again that time to share the best new content coming and indeed now playing on Amazon Prime and Netflix. The streaming giants have a lot lined up for the last couple of weeks in February and March and here are some of our picks.

But if you’re coming to streamers this month, it’s probably to watch a scary movie as the Halloween movie season takes over.

During the June 19-25 viewing window, a new-old favorite took the No. 1 position: “Suits,” the USA Network legal drama that concluded in 2019 and recently landed on Netflix. “Suits” was watched for 2.3 billion minutes during this viewing period, which marked the first full week that the series has been available on Netflix — though it should be noted that “Suits” was already available on Peacock, and this statistic indicates viewership across both streamers. This is the first time in nearly four months that a title has crossed the 2 billion minute mark on the Nielsen Streaming Top 10, with the most recent winner of that achievement being “The Night Agent” with 3.1 billion minutes watched from March 27 to April 2. And that happens even less with titles acquired from other networks, rather than streaming originals — “Manifest” was the last with 2.5 billion minutes watched from June 21-27 of 2021.
