The actor, model, activist and self-proclaimed “music nerd” — best known for starring on “Black-ish” and “Grown-ish” — stars in and executive produces Facebook Watch original series “Yara Shahidi’s Day Off.” In each episode, Shahidi will participate in a range of activities with her celeb guests that reflect “their authentic interests outside of their fame,” spanning horseback riding, gymnastics, golfing, soccer and game night. “Yara Shahidi’s Day Off” premieres Thursday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m. PT, on Facebook Watch, Shahidi’s Facebook page (2.2 million followers) and her Instagram page (7.6 million followers).

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Grown-ish” will end with its upcoming Season 6 at Freeform. The news comes around two months after it was announced the show had been renewed for a sixth season. The final season of the series, which is a spinoff of the ABC comedy “Black-ish,” will air in two parts. The first part will premiere this summer, while the second will air in 2024. The show will air its 100th episode during Season 6. “We’ve spent nearly a decade telling our stories through the -ish series and to say it has been an amazing journey would be an understatement,” said series creator and executive producer Kenya Barris. “To be able to watch Yara, Marcus and our entire ‘grown-ish’ family grow up in front of (and in many ways alongside) us over these past several years has been both a joy and an honor. From the stories we’ve told to the talent we’ve fostered and, most importantly, the memories made, I could not be more proud of everything we’ve accomplished and the -ish family I’ve been a part of.”

A lot of things are changing for our favorite Cal U crew on , and Yara Shahidi couldn't be more excited for fans to see it come together.«I'm excited because this is where the rubber hits the road, and all of the theoretical learning moments and journeys that these kids have been on have become really important and grounded in the fact that they have to figure out what they're about to do with the rest of their lives,» she shares. «I feel like the pending, looming, cloud of graduation gives this part of the season such interesting stakes because there is no messing around, you know? Zoey's had her time where she dropped out but she's always known that she could go back to school and that's always been a very stable place. And so, the fact that that's about to be pulled out from under her leads to really interesting storylines of having to distill what matters.»The second half of this season premieres on Thursday, and it picks up right where the first half left off.

Freeform dropped the trailer for part two of 's fourth season, and it picks up exactly where fans left off in the September midseason finale, «You Beat Me to the Punch.»The group of eight (still missing is Halle Bailey's Skye as the actress was filming Disney's live-action adaptation of overseas) must deal with the fallout of the explosive events during the luau. Aaron must take accountability for his volatile actions at the party as Zoey finds herself in a familiar position, caught between Luka and Aaron as she attempts to juggle her love life and career in fashion.
