Arthouse darling Xavier Dolan is shifting to the small screen with a TV drama for Quebecor Content.

Veteran Canadian film director Xavier Dolan has joined the golden age of TV. After his eighth feature film, Matthias & Maxime, Dolan is partnering with Canal+, Quebecor Content and Studiocanal for his first drama, the five-episode The Night Logan Wakes Up series.

For months now, Xavier Dolan has teased the idea of making a TV miniseries as his next big writing-directing gig.

Canadian auteur Xavier Dolan has achieved much in his 31 years. Since directing his first feature aged just 19, the former child actor has carved out an impressive career as an award-winning filmmaker of brash, pugnacious dramas in which he often stars.
