CBS has started to pare down its returning series slate for next season, cancelling comedy The Unicorn‘s after two seasons. It is one two sophomore series the network won’t be bringing back, along with drama All Rise. Two other CBS bubble series, SEAL Team and Clarice, are eying a move to Paramount+.

Jason Schwartzman, Eric Roberts and Eric Andre are set for recurring roles on Season 2 of HBO’s comedy series The Righteous Gemstones. Production is currently underway on the nine-episode second season.

Walton Goggins (Justified, The Unicorn), Marsha Stephanie Blake (I Am Your Woman, When They See Us), Damon Gupton (Black Lightning, Bates Motel), Cynthia Kaye McWilliams (Coyote, Real Husbands of Hollywood) and Omar Miller (The Unicorn, Ballers) round out the ensemble cast for Apple TV+’s limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. They join Samuel L. Jackson and Dominique Fishback in the six-episode series based on the acclaimed novel by best-selling author Walter Mosley.

If you've already binged all six seasons of Justified, FX's modern Western starring Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens and Walton Goggins as his quick-witted foe Boyd Crowder, the sad news is, there is no more Justified coming. But the good news is, if you're not ready to return to Harlan for a complete series rewatch, there is a lot of great TV out there that might scratch the same itch.

On Thursday's The Unicorn, Wade, played by Walton Goggins, starts reflecting on the changes his life has undergone in the past year as his eldest daughter Grace (Ruby Jay) prepares to go to her first dance. The series, which chronicles Wade's lows and highs after the passing of his wife, wraps its first season this week with the episode "No Matter What the Future Brings" — an occasion that coincides with Goggins appearing on the cover of' Watch Magazine, the official magazine of CBS.
