UPDATED, 9 AM: Amazon annnounced today that David Weil’s anthology series Solos will premiere May 21 exclusively on Prime Video. PREVIOUS, February 1: An all-star cast is set for Solos, a dramatic anthology series from Hunters creator David Weil and Amazon Studios.

A couple of months ago, Amazon announced plans for a new anthology series from the creator of “Hunters.” The series, titled “Solos,” features an all-star cast and is expected to be one of the most anticipated titles coming to the Prime Video streaming service this year. And in a series of first-look photos (via EW), the star power of “Solos” is pretty unbelievable.

More than a decade ago, HBO premiered the drama series, “In Treatment.” The show was positioned in an interesting time in the network’s history. The half-hour drama came after HBO became synonymous with “prestige” due to shows like “The Sopranos” and “The Wire.” However, the series was about 5 years too early, before folks like Netflix and other streaming services would become household names on the back of more recent prestige series.
