Zack Sharf Digital News Director Might Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu reunite for a third “Charlie’s Angels” movie? McG, the trio’s franchise director, recently told Entertainment Weekly that he would be more than open to making that sequel. The filmmaker directed the three actors in 2000’s “Charlie’s Angels” and 2003’s “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” which combined grossed over $520 million at the worldwide box office. The franchise was rebooted on the big screen in 2019 with the Elizabeth Banks-directed “Charlie’s Angels,” but the film flopped and didn’t cross the $100 million mark.
