Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has revealed his former character has returned to the set as he takes to Twitter to share snap of himself and his co-star. Antony, 46, is famous for his role on the Cobbles as unlucky in love Sean Tully and has shared with fans that former co-star Liam Mccheyne has returned to filming as his son, Dylan. He shared the snap of the two all smiles on the set of Corrie in Eileen Grimshaw’s – played by actress Sue Cleaver – front room.

Coronation Street paid a moving tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing ahead of the fifth anniversary of the atrocity. During a scene on this evening's show, soap stalwarts Gail Platt and Eileen Grimshaw, played by actors Helen Worth and Sue Cleaver, laid flowers at a memorial bench previously installed at the ITV studio.

Eileen Grimshaw is one of many strong women on the Coronation Street cobbles.
