The film arrives on Prime Video on Friday, Aug.

“The Inventor,” a new stop-motion animated feature starring Daisy Ridley and Marion Cotillard, has secured U.S. theatrical distribution at Blue Fox Entertainment.

Blue Fox Entertainment has picked up U.S. rights to the stop-motion adventure comedy The Inventor, starring Stephen Fry as Leonardo da Vinci. Also starring Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Gauthier Battoue and Matt Berry, the film is set for an exclusive release in theaters nationwide on August 25th.

Charna Flam Blue Fox Entertainment has acquired the rights to Jim Capobianco’s directorial debut “The Inventor” and will release the film in theaters nationwide on Aug. 25. The stop-motion film includes the voices of Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Stephen Fry, Gauthier Battoue and Matt Berry. “Ratatouille” screenwriter, Capobianco wrote, produced and directed “The Inventor,” alongside co-director Pierre-Luc Granjon. “The Inventor” follows famed inventor and artist Leonardo da Vinci after he leaves Italy for France. In his new country, da Vinci joins the French court where he experiments with flying contraptions, invents machines and studies the human body, all in an effort to answer the question: “What is the meaning of life?”

Casey McQuiston’s romance novel “Red, White & Royal Blue” was an instant New York Times bestseller when it first came out in 2019 and it’s topping bestseller lists once again ahead of Prime Video’s film adaptation which premieres on August 11.

It’s a secret romance like no other.

“Red, White, & Royal Blue.” The trailer certainly makes a point of laying out the various peaks and valleys of the plot, introducing Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman) and Britain’s Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine). After an international incident involving a wedding cake happens the two are forced to engage in a staged friendship.

In rom-coms, the game is simple: opposites attract. But in the case of “Red, White & Royal Blue,” that trope gets an international facelift, with the scions of the US President and the British Royal family falling for each other.

Naman Ramachandran Graham Norton will host the U.K. reboot of “Wheel of Fortune” on broadcast channel ITV1 and streamer ITVX. The game show, based on the U.S. format, is being produced by Whisper North, part of the Sony Pictures Television-backed Whisper Group. “Wheel of Fortune” was broadcast for 14 seasons between 1988-2001 on ITV. Returning for an 8 x 60′ run, which includes two celebrity specials, the game show will again be centred around a giant carnival wheel as the contestants spin to win for a cash prize. The turn of the wheel secures a cash value before they pick a letter to help them solve the puzzle. For every correct letter they reveal in the puzzle they win multiples of that amount. They could lose everything at a spin of a wheel which contains ‘bankrupts’ and ‘lose a turn’ and the contestants’ entire winnings could be wiped out. In addition to cash, contestants can also win some prizes which are added to their cash pot to help them reach the bonus round.

Produced by Whisper North, the 20 x 60’ episode series will see contestants using their general knowledge to win rounds and continue amassing winnings, the longer they stay in the game. The new show will allow participants to play an extra round compared to the original format. Fry said: “In the United States, ‘Jeopardy!’ is a phenomenon like no other. Whenever I’m in America, I do my damnedest to catch it every weekday. The idea of hosting it here in the U.K. makes me dizzy with delight. Such a dedicated quizzing nation as ours will, I hope, welcome this uniquely beguiling and endlessly rewarding game.”
