K.J. Yossman Miriam Margolyes, who played Professor Sprout in the “Harry Potter” film franchise, is lending her voice to a new kids project titled “Badjelly,” Variety can confirm. Based on the Spike Milligan children’s book “Badjelly the Witch: A Fairy Story,” the animated series will bring to life Milligan’s original tale about two siblings who go searching for a lost cow – and stumble upon a cast of magical creatures.

Barry Humphries, the Australian entertainer best known for performing as Dame Edna Everage, has died. A spokesman for the hospital where he was being treated has confirmed that the comic passed away today, Saturday, April 22.

Barry Cryer OBE has died aged 86. The comedian died on Tuesday afternoon (25 January) at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, according to a statement from his family. He died “peacefully” and in “good spirits” surrounded by his family.
