Paramount Worldwide Acquisition Group has locked down worldwide distribution rights to the action-thriller Sheroes, starring Sasha Luss (Anna), Wallis Day (Infinite), Isabelle Furhman (The Novice), Skai Jackson (Jesse) and Jack Kesy (Without Remorse), which recently wrapped production in Thailand. Plans for its release have not yet been disclosed.

UTA has brought on music agents Emily LaRose, Marissa Smith, Elisa Vazzana to join their Nashville offices as well as Amy Lynch to join the Comedy Touring division as an agent. Brandi Brammer will serve as senior HR business partner, and Emily Wright serves as a music brand partnerships agent.

WME music agents Marissa Smith, Matthew Morgan and Buster Philipps have left the agency and are bound for UTA, sources tell Variety. The news follows the exit of Scott Clayton, who was one of three co-heads of music at WME.

WME has hired music agent Craig D’Souza as a Partner, based in the UK.

Veteran music agent Aaron Tannenbaum has joined WME as a partner, based in its Nashville office. The former CAA agent represented country music artists within the touring industry while with the rival Hollywood talent agency since 2010.

WME partner and worldwide head of music Marc Geiger is leaving the agency after 17 years. WME co-head of music Sara Newkirk Simon will transition to a consultant role with WME's parent company, Endeavor, it was announced on Thursday.
