Writer Sarah Burgess and star Sarah Paulson said they were trying to understand and depict what motivated Linda Tripp in Impeachment: American Crime Story. The FX limited series depicts the impeachment hearings of President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen) after his affair with Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein). Paulson plays Tripp, who recorded Lewinsky’s phone calls with Clinton and gave them to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr (Dan Bakkedahl).

Hulu is now the exclusive streaming home of all past and future seasons of Ryan Murphy’s big FX franchises, American Crime Story, American Horror Story and Pose. All three shows left Netflix at the end of February.

Nothing left out. Monica Lewinsky serves as a producer on the upcoming drama Impeachment: American Crime Story, which examines the relationship the former White House intern had with then-president Bill Clinton in the 90s and the events that led to his impeachment in December 1998.

FX has shared the first teaser for the upcoming third season of “American Crime Story,” which will delve into the story of Monica Lewinsky’s time as a White House intern.The short clip shows Lewinsky — played by “Booksmart” star Beanie Feldstein — making her way to the Oval Office to deliver a gift to “Bill” as ominous music plays in the background.
