Joe Otterson TV Reporter“SEAL Team” has been renewed for Season 6 at Paramount Plus.This will now be the second season of the military drama to air on the streaming service, as the show moved over to Paramount Plus from CBS for Season 5.“We are very excited to welcome ‘SEAL Team’ back for another season on Paramount+,” said Nicole Clemens, president of Paramount Plus Original Scripted Series. “The show’s loyal fanbase followed the series to its new exclusive home, and it has proven to be a high-performing title for the service, consistently in the top 10 most-watched original series.

Paramount+ has handed a series order to Happy Face, a crime drama series, based on a hit podcast, that tells the story of a notorious serial killer who was infamous for drawing smiley faces on letters to the media and prosecutors.

The creative team and cast of CBS’ Evil honored Peter Scolari, who died on Friday after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 66 years old. For Evil co-creator Robert King, Scolari “was one of the funniest – sneakily funny – actors we’ve worked with.”

Uzo Aduba has lined up an exciting new project!

Joe Otterson TV ReporterUzo Aduba has signed a multi-year producing deal with CBS Studios, Variety has confirmed.Under the deal, she will star in and executive produce a new drama series titled “Low Country” that is also executive produced by CBS favorites Robert and Michelle King. Dewayne Jones, who previously worked on the Kings’ shows “Evil” and “Your Honor,” will write and executive produce.

When “The Good Fight” returns for its fourth season this year, it will do so with its same sensibility but lots of new faces.

The Good Fight is adding a well-known face in Season 4: Hugh Dancy has joined the cast of the critically acclaimed CBS All Access show. Creator and executive producer Robert King announced the news during the show's panel at the Television Critics Association winter press tour Sunday.
