Trainspotting star Robert Carlyle confirmed he's in talks to return as Begbie in a new spin off series. The actor admitted chats about the series, based on Irvine Welsh's 2016 book The Blade Artist, are at early stages but confirmed 'it's looking pretty good that this will happen eventually'.
