Naman Ramachandran London’s venerable Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is getting with the times and seeking a Swiftie in the role of a “Superfan Advisor.” The British Swiftie, who will be on a zero hours part time contract, will be required to provide insights into fan culture and the memorabilia that Swift aficionados make and collect. Swifties often exchange friendship bracelets at their idol’s concerts and the V&A said it is particularly interested in the craftwork that goes into these and also into the handmade signs seen at the events.

Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’ London Stage Musical Unveils Full Cast

Naman Ramachandran London’s National Theatre has unveiled the complete ensemble cast for Roald Dahl’s “The Witches,” a co-production with the Roald Dahl Story Company. The stage musical is directed by Lyndsey Turner (“The Crucible”), features book and lyrics by Olivier Award-winner Lucy Kirkwood (“Mosquitoes”) along with music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Dave Malloy (“Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812”). Based on the 1983 novel by Dahl, the musical follows an English boy and his Norwegian grandmother in a world where child-hating societies of witches secretly exist in every country.

‘The Act of Killing’ Producer Spring Films Sets Joint Venture With Media Fund APX Group

Naman Ramachandran London-based Spring Films, producers of Oscar nominated and BAFTA-winning 2012 documentary “The Act of Killing,” has signed a joint venture and partnership agreement with U.S.-Europe media fund APX Group. The new venture, via which APX and Spring will invest in new productions over the next five years, will be based in London and owned equally. It will look to develop and produce new and breakthrough content. The parties also see this agreement as an opportunity to curate a library of content that will have the potential for global distribution. The board of directors of the joint venture will include two members each from APX Group and Spring Films.
