Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman have penned the sequels for the cult-favorite mystery film Knives Out. According to a report by Deadline, Edward Norton and Dave Bautista are on board with the project.

EXCLUSIVE: In the next big casting for the sequel to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, sources tell Deadline that Edward Norton is set to join Daniel Craig in the next installment from Netflix. Dave Bautista was also recently cast, joining Craig who is reprising the role of super sleuth Benoit Blanc. Johnson is back to write and direct the pic and will produce with his partner Ram Bergman.

The signing comes two months after Johnson signed a $400 million-plus deal to write and direct two sequels to the Oscar-nominated murder mystery film, with Craig returning as ace detective Benoit Blanc. Johnson will also produce with partner Ram Bergman, with shooting set to begin this summer in Greece.

T-Street — the production banner run by director Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman — and Knives Out studio MRC Films have launched a new label to produce low-budget films from emerging filmmakers.
