NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Country star Kelsea Ballerini is making a last-minute pivot to co-hosting the CMT Music Awards remotely after testing positive for COVID-19 days before the show.Ballerini and actor Anthony Mackie were set to host the Monday night awards show airing on CBS from Nashville. But on Monday morning, CMT and CBS announced that Ballerini will remain home.

Faith Hill is officially returning to the CMT Awards. The country music star will make an appearance at the show for the first time in over a decade.The 54-year-old last appeared 12 years ago in 2010.
