Apple TV+ has picked up a second season of Platonic, its hit half-hour comedy starring and executive produced by Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen.

Jason Segel’s therapist Jimmy is set to give out some more interesting advice after Apple TV+ renewed comedy-drama series Shrinking for a second season.

“Shrinking” has landed a Season 2 renewal at Apple TV+ well ahead of the first season’s finale, the streamer said Thursday.The dark comedy series, which was co-created by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, follows Jimmy (Segel), a recently widowed therapist who embraces a bold, somewhat unethical approach by practicing radical honestly with his patients. Severance will return for more at Apple TV+, which has renewed the workplace thriller starring Adam Scott for a second season. The series comes from creator and writer Dan Erickson and director and executive producer Ben Stiller.

EXCLUSIVE: 20th Television’s drama development executive Erin May has joined Apple TV+ as a senior creative executive, reporting to Matt Cherniss, Apple’s head of scripted television. She starts Nov. 8 and will be based at Apple TV+’s offices in Culver City.
