Walter Martin, formerly of the Walkmen, has shared a new benefit single. It’s called “Quarantine Boogie (Loco)” and it’s his latest collaboration with the National’s Matt Berninger, who sings backup vocals. “Quarantine Boogie (Loco)” also has horns from Stuart Bogie. The National frontman Matt Berninger has released a new cover of Mercury Rev’s 1998 song “Holes.” The cover is being released as a part of a new split 7" single, the latest in the ongoing “7-inches for Planned Parenthood” series. Berninger’s version of “Holes,” produced by Booker T. Jones, is the A-side; a spoken word by lawyer and former Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal, called “A Reproductive Rights Call To Action,” is the B-side.
