Justin Timberlake is taking on his latest dramatic role in, an upcoming crime thriller from writer-director Grant Singer.In the film, a young New England real estate agent is found dead in a grizzly crime scene, leading local law enforcement, led by Benicio Del Toro's Detective Nichols, to speculate on who in her life may have committed the brutal murder — and unravel some secrets in his own life along the way.Nichols is aided in the case by his wife, Judy, played by Alicia Silverstone, on whom the detective tests out his theories on the case — as well as bite mark patterns.«I'll go with the boyfriend,» Nichols says in the trailer, focusing on Timberlake's character as he and his fellow investigators place wagers on who they think committed the murder.«I've got the friend,» Detective Dan Cleary (Ato Essandoh) speculates, referencing a shady-looking pal of the victim, played by Sky Ferreira.«I'll take the weirdo,» says another detective, played by Michael Beasley. Netflix is giving fans a first look at the new thriller Reptile.

The first pictures from the forthcoming thriller “Reptile,” starring Benicio Del Toro and Justin Timberlake, have just been made public by the Netflix streaming service.

EXCLUSIVE: Rhona Mitra (Hounds of War) has signed on for a role in Millennium Media’s comic book film Red Sonja, toplined by Matilda Lutz, with Oliver Trevena (Wire Room) departing the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Millennium Media has unveiled the first still from its anticipated comic book film Red Sonja, starring Matilda Lutz (Revenge), which is currently in production at the Bulgarian Nu Boyana Studio, with additional shoots at the Greek Nu Boyana Studio scheduled for later in the month.

EXCLUSIVE: Oliver Trevena (Wire Room) is the latest addition to the cast of Millennium Media’s comic book film Red Sonja, which has entered production in Bulgaria. He joins an ensemble led by Matilda Lutz, which also includes the previously announced Wallis Day, Robert Sheehan, Michael Bisping, Martyn Ford, Eliza Matengu, Manal El-Feitury and Katrina Durden.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that Millennium Media’s reboot of the 1985 fantasy action flick “Red Sonja” had started shooting. However, the big reveal in that update was that the studio had quietly switched out director Joey Soloway (“Transparent”) and lead actress Hannah John-Kamen (“Ant-Man & The Wasp”) for director M.J.

A remake of the 1985 sword and sorcery film “Red Sonja” had been in the works for ages at Millennium Media. One incarnation had Robert Rodriguez producing with “Planet Terror” star Rose McGowan attached to play the comic book heroine.

Matilda Lutz (Revenge), Wallis Day (Sex/Life) and Robert Sheehan (The Umbrella Academy) have been tapped to lead the cast of Millennium Media’s upcoming comic book film Red Sonja, from director M.J. Bassett (Solomon Kane), which is now in production at the Bulgarian Nu Boyana Studio, with filming at the Greek Nu Boyana Studio to follow.

Daisy Ridley and Shazad Latif, along with Matilda Lutz are set to star in contemporary, sexy, noir pic Magpie. The pic is based on an original idea from Ridley and was written by Tom Bateman. Award-winning British theater talent Sam Yates will make his feature directorial debut.

Back in 2021, it was announced that streaming giant Netflix had acquired the Roald Dahl Story Company in the wake of a whole bunch of projects based on the author’s beloved stories going into development. Among these projects are a series based on the world of “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory” from Taika Waititi, and Wes Anderson‘s new anthology project based on the short story collection “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar & Six More,” with actor Benedict Cumberbatch (“Power of The Dog“) attached.

Michel Hazanavicius’ film “Final Cut” has dropped out of its planned premiere at the Sundance Film Festival after the festival chose to move to a fully virtual format amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Hazanivicius, an Oscar winner for Best Picture winner “The Artist,” said he and the filmmakers fully support the festival’s decision but prefers to premiere the film in a theater with a live audience.

Featuring a sedate Guy Pearce, Andrew Baird’s directorial debut “Blade-Runner” -lite “Zone 414” wastes a compelling premise on an overly-long neo-noir that teases a post-technocratic society in which androids and humans are segregated and only interact within the titular Zone. While riffing off almost every film about androids that came before it — “A.I.,” “Ex Machina,” etc.
